Veronika’s school project changed her life. She was challenged to make something that actually met a real need. A coat wasn’t enough, so Veronica Scott created a coat that could also be a sleeping bag. Very useful and innovative. When someone came out of the homeless shelter and yelled at her that this isn’t what they need, she responded by meeting their next need, too. One project by a woman who had a hard childhood of her own and suddenly the needs of many are met. Veronika is our Hero Minded example of the day.
